I'm wondering if anyone has ran across a data integrity issue with hybrid backup? Seems that there is no way to verify the integrity of the cloud copy with the local copy. Resyncing repository does nothing to pick up any files missing in the cloud. The assumption is that once backed up to cloud, all is well. Of course missing local copies are picked up fine. Seems to me a glaring gap the the hybrid architecture.

Now I think I can create a cloud backup plan with same folders and it will catch any missing files, especially those that don't change much. But this arguably defeats the purpose of hybrid in the first place. Now I need a second integrity plan.

    Am I missing something here?

This is indeed an issue. The repository sync works for missing local files, but not cloud ones.
We will update the topic when the issue is fixed.

There will be Hybrid Engine redesign in version 5.9.4, that update should bring consistency to hybrid backups. The build should be ready in December.
