Consistency Check Backblaze B2
I am using Cloudberry Backup Pro for MacOS, version
to backup my NAS to Backblaze B2. The backup status shows successful, but when I compare the B2 folder with the NAS they are significantly different. How do I run a consistency check to fix the discrepancy?
. The button is called differently but you can make the application do the same operation if you go Settings > Application > Synchronize Repository. After that Backup will "learn" what's really there in the storage and upload whatever is missing at next backup run.
If the discrepancy persists or occurs again, please contact
Also, let me remind you to restore your backups for testing before you actually need to restore them to recover from a data loss. A little paranoia is a good thing in this case
I heard they are working on it in 6.0 but if your transfers stop during large files it leaves parts of them in your b2 bucket
You have to setup the cli (google b2 cli)
Then you have to run `b2 cancel_all_unfinished_large_files mybucketname` (when no backups are running)
I had 2TB of large files in one of our buckets and CBB is the only thing that has ever touched it.
