Goal: Restore System Image and Data to VM in EC2 or Azure in the fastest time possible without excessive costs.
Info: Currently we backup to B2. If I was to do a Restore to Cloud, I am assuming the data first must be copied from B2 to Cloud (EC2 or Azure) and then a restore happens, slowing down the time.
Question: Is there a place to store images or data files within Azure or EC2 where the copying of files would not be necessary?

Hi . Well if you store backups at Amazon S3 then to restore to an EC2 instance would take MUCH shorter time because the data doesn't need to leave Amazon network. Same with Azure storage and Azure VM platform. Obviously, the 2 storage providers cost more than B2, but that's where you need to find your balance between RTO and costs.
