We're migrating to CloudBerry and will start configuring backups for Microsoft Exchange (2010, 2013, and 2016). Our current offsite backup application requires "Enable circular logging" to be unmarked for the Microsoft Exchange database. It transfers out the Exchange database transaction logs and then rolls those logs into the Exchange database.

How should Exchange be setup for CloudBerry - with or with "Enable circular logging" marked? In reviewing the manual and other online info, I didn't see this mentioned.

If this is left unmarked, does CloudBerry roll the Exchange logs into the database after transferring those files offsite?

    Thanks.

Circular Logging is a mode not recommended for Exchange server. CloudBerry Backup will work anyway but enabling the circular logging can lead to losing some data put to Exchange after the latest backup in case of subsequent restore. Yes, CloudBerry Backup triggers logs truncation after successful backup.
