    Hey,

    I trialed an older version of CBB VM Edition to find that Item level restore wasn't working from a Hyper-V VM Backup. Support advised it would be fixed in v5.8. before I goto the effort of reinstalling and getting another trial I thought I would ask if it had been fixed. I found the 5.8 release notes in the forum here and there is a bug fix:

    Failure to restore virtual machines backed up from the Hyper-V server with configuration version 8.0
    3577.


    I'm not sure if that covers the bug I found.

    Worth re-trialling?

    It depends on the issue you were having with file-level restore of that particular backup. If you have a case ID, I could check and see if that particular problem was fixed.

    Just checked and this issue was fixed in 5.8.0.137, so this should work now. Let me know if you need trial extension.
