I am wanting to move data from Google Cloud to a local External hard drive. We used MSP360 Backup to backup this data and encrypted it on Google Cloud.

This data is versioned files of our live file server.

My goal is to be able to access these versions from the local hard drive if we need them in the future.

Due to the encryption I wasn't sure what the best way to move this data from Google Cloud to the local hard drive. Any help would be appreciated.

How did you encrypt the backups? with MSP360 encryption or something else?

    With MSP360 encryption.

This is feasible. When transferring a backup copy from the cloud to a local disk, ensure that you maintain the original structure of the backup data. However, the most effective approach would be to establish two plans: one for local storage and another for the cloud.

To ensure seamless data transfer without interfering with encryption and compression, you can utilize either our Freeware CloudBerry Explorer (https://www.msp360.com/explorer/) or simply download the data directly from Google Cloud using their native storage browser.
